For years the address for good french fries, mega good mayonnaises and relaxed wait staff. Anyone in Jena must have been here.

Certainly the best fries in town. The burgers are also great, but not exactly cheap at 10 euros without a side dish.

In any case, very tasty food, a large selection of the majos and almost all of them taste excellent. People like to go here, whether during their lunch break, a "small" snack between regular or fixed meals. I can always give it to myself and can only recommend it!

Great location. Small but nice. Great fries and a delicious selection of dips. My favorite: "Honeydew Melon Dijon", currywurst, salad, sweets, burgers - also vegetarian. Attentive and very friendly service. Gladly again.

Unfortunately, I am once again dissatisfied. The currywurst with fries were rather mediocre. The fries weren't quite through and the 4 pieces of currywurst weren't a highlight either. But as the saying goes, less is more. Less currywurst, more proceeds. But the mouthguard is very important when selling outside. So the customer stands outside and orders at the window. But you probably have to obey the law here. But there is no receipt for this, which is required by law and I couldn't see the reduction in VAT.

I love your food and I'm always totally satisfied, but today I'm not so well and I was really looking forward to your fries and they don't taste as good as usual today. A lot of salt is missing and there is too little for the big portion. You don't have to feel guilty now, I will survive and buy you again and again, but that has made me a little sad now.

As always, it was super tasty. Fair price. Here I always experience the friendliest and most polite service. Highly recommended.

Opens late in a German city except Berlin alone gets you extra credit. Service was fast and smooth, and the employees were really nice. I ordered the Currywurst, feel free to try the many creative dips. Would definitely come back again, may be this time for a burger and sweet potato fries. Keep it up guys

Burger was not tasty, not sure why you'd choose to put a yogurt sauce in a bacon burger...? Just weird. On the other hand, fries with homemade mayo were really really good

The food is great, very tasty! The sauces are interesting. Unfortunately, I did not like the sweet potato fries because they were too sweet for me, but someone who does like sweet food should really enjoy it! Normal fries and bacon burger was amazing!

Fritz Mitte is a local chain (found in Weimar and Jena in Thüringen/Thuringia) in middle Germany. It is a great place for good quality food that is traditionally considered 'fast food', including hamburgers and vegetarian alternatives. They are well-known for their chips (fries for American readers). Fritz Mittie is also a bar in some cases, including at the Neugasse 5 location. 5/5 would go again and recommend to friends.

One of the highest rankings on gmaps made me visit this place. May be because of my high expectations I was slightly disappointed. Here is neither kebap, nor high-level restaurant. May be this is exactly the point where some improvements could be made. Either you guys position yourself as a “street-food” and don’t charge ~9.00 for burger, or rather a hipster restaurant (where u would fit imo better). Then add please table service, make menu more informative with some nice pics, currently it is very busy and overloaded with text. And hey, if you provide cutlery for a burger anyway, put it please on a plate. So in general it is ok here, nice place to meet with friends.

A great place to pick up some delicious street food. Having eating at the other Fritz Mitte in Jena, I was pleasantly surprised to learn of this location. The bar area has a great atmosphere, the servers are very friendly and the food is delicious. I miss the currywurst a lot!

Awesome environment and the best French fries I ever had. English speaking staff. First timers, go for the fritz deal! For 5 euros you get a beer, the curry wurst and the fries. Burger is also great.
